Nitroglycerin: Uterine relaxation

Uterine relaxants may be required to assist in the removal of retained placental products or correction of a uterine inversion. Several pharmacologic agents can be used, and should likely be selected based on the cardiopulmonary status of the patient (hypotensive vs. normotensive, spontaneously breathing versus intubated, etc.)
